Buying shirts online is terrifying. You never know if a Large is going to fit like a tent or a toddler's onesie.

When it comes to Comfort Colors, we have good news: It's predictable.

Here is everything you need to know about Comfort Colors sizing, shrinkage, and fit.

Do Comfort Colors Shrink?

Short Answer: No. (Well, barely.)

Long Answer: Most t-shirts shrink because the fabric is stretched during manufacturing, and heat snaps it back to its original size. Comfort Colors shirts are garment-dyed.

This means the finished shirt was already boiled in a massive vat of hot water and dye during the manufacturing process. It has essentially been pre-shrunk for you. We see less than 2-3% shrinkage, which is negligible.

Pro Tip: The "Width" Measurement
Measure your favorite t-shirt flat on the ground, about 1 inch below the armpit. Compare that number to the charts above. That is the only way to be 100% sure.
